This is only a test.
Greetings from Marian High School, located in scenic Omaha, Nebraska. As some may know, Marian has quite the reputable journalism program and in May of 2009, I, Kaitlyn Griffith, was appointed Online Editor. I take my position very seriously. Kind of.
I’ve been trying to find a way to put a column online and link it to the newspaper’s home page, which needs a little sprucing up itself. All the other pre-made blog sites seem a little too constructed for my taste. I stumbled across this place one summer afternoon and, well, this is my first legitimate attempt at making my dream come true.
I hope to regularly post a monthly article, accompanying an article topic that was published in the physical Network. Along with an opinion piece, I think this could be an excellent outlet for unused photos or overlooked stories to make an appearance.
I hope to turn this humble blog into an integral part of Marian journalism and maybe one day pass it on to some lucky underclassman with a thirst for technology and a love of shouting their opinions at others.
