A Year to Remember
By Kaitlyn Griffith

As much as I hate to admit it, this is my last year at Marian. Throughout my years in these hallowed halls, I have had my fair share of unforgettable memories, but I’m selfish. I want more.
So I set out on an adventure with the intention of compiling 10 things I absolutely must do before I graduate. I will not walk across the stage and accept my diploma until I have put a large, red checkmark next to each number.
I will live for this list, and for the entertainment of my readers. I know you’re out there… I hope you’re out there.
From my point of view, all of the things on my list are accomplishable. It’ll take a lot of work, and I’ll need help from the dedicated readership of The Network. So take a look, if you can lend a hand, I beg of you, shoot me an email. I’ll need all the help I can get.
The list:
1. I solemnly pledge to bake a cupcake for each and every senior, and hand deliver it.
2. I solemnly pledge to fulfill my social responsibility as an American citizen by registering to vote.
3. I solemnly pledge to attend, festively dressed, the midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (preferably on Halloween eve) at the Dundee Theater.
4. I solemnly pledge to paint the entirety of my visible skin and hair blue at a state-sporting event.
5. I solemnly pledge to ace a Baker Calculus test. It’ll happen. I can feel it.
6. I solemnly pledge to order a Snuggie by phone, off of T.V. after viewing the infomercial.
7. I solemnly pledge to stay up one full night under the stars, sunset to sunrise.
8. I solemnly pledge to organize a school-wide game of flashlight tag.
9. I solemnly pledge to shake hands with Warren Buffet.
10. I solemnly pledge to take the most epic road trip of my young life.
